The BDP team was founded in 1998 by a group of strategy consulting and general management professionals, who

• Learned consulting with leading global management consultancies: McKinsey, BCG, LEK and Bain
• Learned general management with leading global organisations: Rolls-Royce, BP, UBS, Deutsche Bank, Glaxo SmithKline
• Developed a practical perspective as senior executives as to when, why and what sort of external help is useful

Our experience tells us that senior executives facing important general-management business problems can be constrained by factors such as: lack of people with time to address the challenges, insufficient depth in specialised skills, or too high risk from taking a narrow perspective (e.g. non independent). In this context experienced senior executives consider outside help.
